The federal government has agreed a brand new subsidy association with the controversial wood-burning Drax energy station in north Yorkshire.

The ability station, a transformed coal plant, generates about 5% of the UK’s electrical energy and has acquired billions of kilos from the federal government and bill-payers as a result of burning wooden pellets – or biomass – is classed as a supply of renewable power.
